We decided to hike to Devil's Bridge today. It was supposed to be a fairly short easy hike, but somehow we lost the trail and ended up with a very steep climb before reaching the bridge.
Luckily, once we were at the top, some other people arrived and showed us the way to the actual path, which we again lost part way back down.
To top it off, when we got back to the Jeep, it made scary grinding noises. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious.
I write this blog so I have a single location to remember the various places I've visited and when I visited them.
Most entries only include a high level description of each trip or activity to trigger my memory of the trip (I keep travel journals and photo albums that are more comprehensive). I also try not to publicly post pictures of friends or family that I'm traveling with (other than my husband).
While individual trips are displayed in reverse chronological order, I display posts for longer trips in the order they happened. For example, if you click the link for New Zealand, all the entries will display in sequential/chronological order, so the complete trip can be read from the top of the page through the end.
